Best Friends Dog Rescue

"Keeping Those Tails Wagging"

Jax and Savannah were the next in line to be euthanized at a local shelter when we pulled them.  They are both living the good life in foster homes waiting on their forever homes.  Jax's foster mom left him out of his crate while she ran a quick errand and came home to find that he had pulled all of his toys out of the toy box and put them in her chair.  This is how she found him when she returned.

Savannah is loving her very own bed at her foster home.

Why Foster?

Fostering can be one of the most rewarding experiences you can have.  By fostering you are saving two lives instead of one by freeing up a spot so that the rescue can take in another dog in need.  You are also socializing the dog to a home environment and getting him use to being around other animals and people.  This helps the rescue learn more about the dog so that we can assure they are placed in the best homes possible.

What does fostering involve?

When you foster, you take a dog into your home and give them food, love and attention until they are adopted.
