1).  What is Best Friends Dog Rescue?


​Best Friends Dog Rescue was established in 2001.  We are a private non-profit, no-kill facility that receives no government funding.  We are supported solely by private donations.  Rescuing puppies/dogs that are abandoned, mistreated or unwanted.  We are a licensed adoption agency that adopt 100% of our rescues to loving homes.  All of our dogs are veterinary checked, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.  We target low income areas in our community, offering spay and neuter assistance.  Please contact us if you can volunteer, foster or donate.


2).  Where is Best Friends Dog Rescue located?


​We are located at 1330 Bold Springs Road in Cairo, Georgia.


3).  What are your hours?


Best Friends visiting hours are by appointment only. Please contact us to make an appointment to visit our animals. 229-377-1538.


​4).  What is your adoption process?


When you see an animal you like, you will fill out an adoption application. We ask for a personal reference (this can be a family member, friend, employer) who can attest to your ability to care for a pet. If you currently have a pet, we ask for your vet’s information.
